Join us for a hands-on Shishbarak workshop, a collaboration between Lammeh and Majlis NY, a community arts and culture organization.

Together, we’ll knead, fold, bake, and cook our way through the delicate ritual of dumpling making, then gather around the table to enjoy Shishbarak the Syrian way, simmered in a tangy garlicky yogurt sauce.

We’ll share stories and conversation about the traditions, memories, and cultural significance behind this beloved dish, then end the workshop with a shared Shishbarak meal, drinks, and extras for you to take home.

The workshop will be hosted at Sea & Soil, a worker-owned neighborhood café committed to thoughtful food, community, and accessibility.
